📱 About Habito

Habito is a habit tracking app for Android. It helps you build and maintain daily habits with streak tracking, progress charts, and smart reminders.

Habito is available as a free app with optional one-time Pro upgrade ($3.99) that unlocks unlimited habits, removes ads, and unlocks custom themes.

📦 Data We Collect

Habito collects minimal data. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

• Habit data — habit names, emojis, streaks, completion history. Stored locally on your device using Hive database. Never uploaded to any server.
• App settings — dark mode preference, theme color, notification preferences. Stored locally on your device only.
• Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob to show relevant ads to free users. You can reset or opt out of this in your Android settings.
• Purchase information — if you purchase Habito Pro, RevenueCat processes your purchase. We only receive confirmation that you are a Pro user. No payment details are stored by us.

• ❌ No name, email, or personal information
• ❌ No location data
• ❌ Your habit data is never uploaded to our servers
• ❌ No data is sold to third parties
• ❌ No social media tracking

📢 Advertising Free Users Only

Free users see banner and interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob. These ads may use your Advertising ID to show relevant content.

Pro users ($3.99 one-time) see zero ads.

💳 In-App Purchases

Habito offers a one-time Pro upgrade for $3.99. Purchases are processed securely through Google Play and managed by RevenueCat.

We never see or store your payment information. RevenueCat's privacy policy can be found at: revenuecat.com/privacy

🔔 Notifications

If you enable reminders for your habits, Habito schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are processed entirely on your device — no data is sent to external servers.

You can disable notifications at any time from the app Settings or your Android notification settings.

👶 Children's Privacy

Habito is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

⚖️ Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data directly in the app.
• Export: Use Settings → Export my data to get a CSV of all your habits.
• Delete: Use Settings → Clear all data to permanently delete everything from your device.
• Opt out of ads: Purchase Habito Pro to remove all ads permanently.
